I was born in South Carolina but grew up and spent most of my life in Washington DC. I have been in the design and antique business for 30 years. Sewing and decorating were a passion of mine from a very early age. I started collecting fabric in my teens and antiques in my twenties. My husband and I moved to Charleston, South Carolina a few years ago. We built our dream house including a large studio for me and my textiles. It is where I design and create my lamp shades and pillows. My lampshades have been featured in Country Living, Charleston Home, Bungalows and Cottages and several other publications. If you are going to be in the Charleston area please visit my booth at the Terrace Oaks Antique Mall on James Island, South Carolina. The mall is only ten minutes from downtown Charleston. My husband Alan and I live with our two West Highland Terriers Buffy and Winston on Johns Island only about five minutes from the shop.
